Skrillex Drops New Album “Quest For Fire” featuring Missy Elliott, Four Tet, Dylan Brady, and More

Skrillex has finally released the first half of his highly anticipated double album, Quest For Fire, which includes a collaboration with hip-hop icon Missy Elliott and French DJ Mr. Oizo titled “RATATA.” The album, released on OWSLA/Atlantic, features a diverse range of collaborations with artists such as Four Tet, Dylan Brady, josh pan, and Starrah.

Quest For Fire includes previously released tracks such as “Rumble” with Fred again.. and Flowdan, “Leave Me Like This” with Bobby Raps, and “Xena” with Nai Barghouti. The album also features a very pretty collab with Starrah and Four Tet called “Butterflies,” and a convergence of Noisia, josh pan, and 100 gecs’ Dylan Brady called “Supersonic (my existence).”

The album is an impressive showcase of Skrillex’s versatility as a producer, with each track delivering a unique sound that is sure to keep fans on their toes. The collaboration with Missy Elliott and Mr. Oizo is a particular standout, with “RATATA” begging for one of Missy’s trademark bugged-out videos.
