Beach House Announces “Become” EP

Indie dream-pop duo Beach House have announced a new EP titled “Become,” featuring five previously unreleased songs from their “Once Twice Melody” sessions. The EP will be a Record Store Day exclusive release on April 22, 2023, and a digital release will follow on April 28, 2023. The worldwide physical release is set to take place in May of the same year.

According to the band, the songs didn’t fit in the world of “Once Twice Melody,” but they realized that they all fit into a little world of their own. The band describes the songs as “scuzzy and spacious” and “living in the spirit realm.” While the songs may not be where the band is currently going, they are definitely somewhere they have been.

The EP features five tracks, including “American Daughter,” “Devil’s Pool,” “Holiday House,” “Black Magic,” and “Become.” Fans can expect a sound that is uniquely Beach House, with dreamy vocals and atmospheric instrumentation that has become synonymous with their music.

The EP will be released on crystal-clear vinyl for Record Store Day, which is a major event for independent record stores worldwide. Beach House has always been known for their love and support of independent record stores, and this exclusive release for Record Store Day is a testament to their commitment to the independent music community.

Beach House has been a major force in the indie music scene since their debut in 2006, and their music continues to captivate audiences around the world. With their new EP “Become,” the band offers a glimpse into their creative process and showcases their signature dream-pop sound. Fans can look forward to more music from the duo in the future, as they continue to push the boundaries of their craft and explore new sounds and styles.
